About

Embedded Support for Investor and Partnership Momentum

I help early-stage fintech founders build the investor and partnership conversations that move the business forward.

With 15+ years across investor relations, strategic partnerships, business development, outreach, and relationship management, I work with founders who need more structure around how they identify, reach, and manage the right relationships.

My work sits between strategy and execution. I help founders clarify who they should be talking to, build the right investor or partner pipeline, shape the outreach, manage follow-up, prepare for conversations, and keep momentum moving after the first touchpoint.

For many early-stage companies, investor relations and partnerships are too important to handle casually, but too early for a full-time hire. I provide senior fractional support so founders get the strategy, consistency, and execution they need without adding permanent headcount.

Founders usually come to me when they need clearer targeting, stronger outreach, better follow-up, and a more organized path from prospecting to real conversations.

How we work together

A Clear Process from First Call to Execution

01 — Intro

15-Minute Fit Call

We discuss your stage, current priorities, fundraising or partnership goals, and where you need support.

02 — Scope

30-Day Action Plan

If there is a fit, I send a written scope with recommended deliverables, weekly cadence, and timeline. Standard engagements run at $5,000/month; complex engagements are priced based on scope.

03 — Embed

Kickoff & CRM Access

We align on goals, messaging, target criteria, CRM access, and immediate priorities so execution can begin quickly.

04 — Run

Weekly Execution Cadence

You get consistent outreach execution, pipeline updates, follow-up management, and a weekly written summary so nothing gets lost.

Pricing

How engagements are priced.

Engagements are scoped based on stage, urgency, pipeline complexity, and the level of execution needed. Final scope is confirmed after the intro call.

Common questions

The questions founders ask first.

I work part-time with a small number of early-stage fintech founders, supporting investor relations, fundraising outreach, or strategic partnerships without joining as a full-time hire. You get senior support, consistent execution, and pipeline ownership without the cost or long-term commitment of a full-time role.
Standard retainers are 10 hours per week (40 hours per month). Additional scope is discussed on the discovery call and structured as a custom embedded retainer rather than billed hourly. This keeps the work organized as ongoing senior support rather than transactional hourly work.
I keep my client roster intentionally small so each engagement gets real focus. I do not take on directly competing clients, and I disclose any potential adjacency before starting an engagement.
Standard engagements are month-to-month retainers at $5,000/month for 40 hours of senior partnerships or investor relations work. Investor relations engagements also include a standard success fee component on capital raised at round close. Complex engagements with specific regulatory, multi-stakeholder, or KPI-tied requirements are priced based on scope. Specifics are confirmed during the discovery call and locked into the written scope of work.
Generally no. Cash retainer keeps things clean and aligned. Modest equity may be considered for engagements with strong strategic value, typically tied to a longer commitment or deeper embedment.
You do. Any investor lists, partner pipelines, drafted outreach, CRM structures, internal documents, or company-specific materials I create for your business belong to you. General frameworks, templates, and operating systems I bring into the engagement remain mine, but all client work is tailored to your company, stage, and goals.
No. I don't take on more than one engagement in a directly competing space. Any adjacency gets disclosed before signing so you can decide. Your investor list, partner conversations, financial data, and product roadmap stay confidential during and after the engagement.
A 60-minute kickoff call to align on goals, current state of your pipeline, and immediate priorities. By end of week one, I have access to the systems I need and a documented 30-day plan. Week two is when execution starts at full speed.
Vacations are planned three or more weeks in advance and communicated upfront. For unexpected short absences, your pipeline lives in shared documentation that your team has access to from day one, so the work doesn't depend on me being online every minute. For longer absences, I have a backup operator in my network — a senior fractional partnerships and IR practitioner — who can step in and cover active work so your pipeline doesn't stall.
The engagement can end with 30 days’ notice, or whatever is outlined in the SOW. I believe in clear communication and clean working relationships. If the fit is not right, we address it directly and professionally.
A 15-minute discovery call is the fastest way to figure out fit. After that, if there's a fit, I send a scoping document with proposed deliverables for the first 30 days, plus the contract. From signed contract to kickoff is usually under a week.
